About the Author



Nick Ripatrazone is the author of six books: The Fine Delight: Postconciliar Catholic Literature (literary criticism, Cascade Books 2013), This Darksome Burn (novella, Queen's Ferry Press 2013),  We Will Listen For You (novella, CCM Press 2014), Good People (short story collection, Foxhead Books 2014), Oblations (prose poems, Gold Wake Press 2011), and This Is Not About Birds (poems, Gold Wake Press 2012),  His writing has received honors from Esquire, Shenandoah, The Kenyon Review, and ESPN: The Magazine.

Nick has written about Catholic literature and culture for Commonweal, America, Notre Dame Review, The Millions, The Rumpus, Puerto del Sol, Shenandoah, Pleiades, National Catholic Reporter, Dappled Things, Pilgrim Journal, HTMLGIANT and other publications. He is a staff writer at The Millions and a Contributing Editor at The Marginalia Review of Books.

He holds a BA in Creative Writing (Susquehanna), an MA in English Literature (Rutgers), an MFA in Creative Writing (Rutgers), and has completed some graduate work in Catholic theology.
